Established in 1990 in Mumbai by Vijay Kumar Fotedar under the name of Innovative Vacuum Technology (IVT). VK Fotedar, was a first generation business man with over 2 decades of experience in engineering R&D and Business Development. He conceived the business to offer cutting edge services and solutions for Vacuum Technology and its applications to the Indian Subcontinent. Over the years the business developed specialisation in Vacuum Web Coating and offered pioneering products and services to a country which had just ventured down the path of liberalisation. In 2002, his son Vikram Fotedar, fresh out of university with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering joined the business. Vikram was put through a rigorous training program across 3 continents before he assumed responsibility as an installation and service engineer. This legacy continues and every engineer in the company is put through an extensive training program before they see any field action.
In 2007, Fotedar Engineering Services FZE was established as a project engineering company in UAE and was spear headed by Vikram. Over the years Fotedar Engineering Services developed core competence in Web handling, Flexible packaging converting, Coating and material testing. Now we are a vibrant team with a balance of gender, age and background. This diversity of the team forms the backbone of our operation.
